J. FARINA - Yes, his first name is an initial, and yes, you'll get used to it. J has been building and racing e30 BMWs for the past 5 years and is the owner and founder of Big Fish Motorsports, a small 2-man race shop outside of San Diego, CA. Though J started out racing in the dirt doing rally cross events and studying to race stage rally under former USRS Champion Tim O'Neil, he also developed a love of road course racing and honed his skills at auto crosses and track days. "At this point, Autocross and Rallycross to me is like an adult playing little league baseball, but its the only kind of racing I can afford to do. Thats why the 24 Hours of LeMons is so perfect for me." J hopes to help deliver his package in the POS delivery vehicle on race day, "At POS, we believe in driving fast, drinking beer, and doing our jobs, in that order. If we survive the driving, we celebrate with beer, and if we aren't to drunk, we'll go to work." J@POSRacing.com
MICHAEL BREAM, AKA Burrito, is the token slow guy for the team. Raised as a surfer and skater, motorsports wasn't high on his agenda, mainly because of budget. But nowadays Bream has become fond of speed, and anything with a throttle now that he draws a steady paycheck from his skateboard manufacturing business. Bream claims to be a jack of all trades, but master of none. He's pretty much the goto guy for anything that the others don't want to do, and when your in the business of POS Delivery, the grunt work rolls downhill, so to speak. His toughest challenge for the LeMons event is to actually get out of his flip flops long enough to put some track time in.... "Oh well" he says, "I'll rock the brown socks!" When Bream isn't busy trying to figure out how to lace up real shoes, he spends his time working on graphics and web design for the POS Delivery service.... so he's the team's official geek. KALI MISTRY is known by many as the "The Indian." He is a pro at making curry and is working hard to get his driving skills as good as his fine cuisine creations. His driving career began 2 years ago with the purchase of his first BMW E30. The driving gene, which only comes naturally to his origin, (See 85% of cab drivers in NY) led him to Big Fish Motorsports. After taking the flying brick through numerous autocross events, the sultan of spice began to step up his game. Many rupees later came e30 #2, aka The Red Racer. This has been Kali's latest autocross/track toy. His experiences have led him to channel his brown and deliver the sting of ring with Team POS Delivery at the next LeMons event. Kali@POSRacing.com
JOEL TARQUIN began his racing career in the early 90's as a Pro downhill/dual slalom mountain bike racer. He soon became tired of pedaling and moved on to motorcycle racing. After more than a decade of Moto-x, Supercross, Dirt track, Road race, Baja, AMA Supermoto and even Pikes Peak left him with more titanium parts than his favorite race bike, Joel moved on to the world of Off Road truck racing. A couple years in CORR (Championship Off Road Racing), and a couple more trips down the Baja peninsula and Joel found that his wallet was more broke than his body. A lifetime of racing was led him to the 24 Hours of LeMons. With Team POS delivery, Joel looks forward to delivering the goods... Joel@POSRacing.com
